Health and Well-BeingI just don't have time to take care of my health... How I work with Health and Well-beingThe media is saturated with all the things that we should be doing to keep ourselves well, and if you have a chronic or persistent physical problem you have probably been told to do a myriad of things that would take up a fair chunk of your day. From understanding my own experience of living with chronic and painful conditions I can help you look at creating balance in your life and manage pain. Of all the things that you need to do, which is the most feasible? What are the internal and external barriers to accomplishing your health and wellness goals? What strategies and accountability structures can you build into your life to maintain your health and well-being goals? I am also a qualified meditation instructor (see the meditation link at the left). About Health and Well-beingHealth and well-being require balance between physical, social, emotional, financial and spiritual aspects of our lives.
These things rarely just happen, we need to be aware and plan if we want to ensure these needs are sufficiently balanced. Books and Resources There are many resources on health and well-being, but some that I have found particularly helpful are: Diane Dreher. The Tao of Inner Peace.
